Aims & Scope.

Hydrogen is recognized as a clean energy carrier and a key chemical raw material. Currently, more than 90% of hydrogen is produced from fossil fuels via reforming. Therefore, hydrogen production powered by renewable energy sources (e.g., solar, wind, hydro) is highly desired for realizing a sustainable, carbon-neutral energy future.

This Symposium is linked to the EXPO 2025 and shows more than 30 years of cooperation between the AGH University of Krakow and Japanese universities.


The aims of the cooperation are as follows:
• Enhancing cooperation and networking;
• Developing new partnerships and strengthening existing ones;
• Exchanging existing and creating new knowledge;
• Enhancing level of science and technology;
• Increasing impact of research and development activities.

The aims of Symposium are to collect presentations dealing with hydrogen energy technologies: production, storage, utilization and transport phenomena.

The Seminar topics include, but are not limited to:
Fundamentals:

Heat and Mass Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamic Processes, Measurement Techniques, Numerical Methods, Adsorption and Desorption,
Applications:
Advanced Energy Systems, Advanced Environmental Systems, Biotechnology and Bio Engineering, Education, Manufacturing Processes, Material Processing, Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry.
